Even Google Is Blocked With Apps for iPhone — Everyone seems to be blaming Apple for this.. try pointing your blame towards AT&T. That said… it’s only natural for AT&T to want to discourage this type of app. They have an underpowered, overpriced network.

Oddly enough, M$ and Y! finally got hitched. I think this [an advertising partnership] is a much better outcome than MS buying Yahoo outright. As we’ve seen in the past with Hotmail, a Microsoft purchase generally leads to loss of innovation and the addition of junk.
