The State of Editing — “Much of the writing and non-writing world seems to misunderstand and devalue the role of editors. Many writers resent them, believing them naught but capricious gatekeepers and malicious copy-wreckers. Very few editors deserve that reputation.”

Question Box — They are putting call boxes in Africa and India that allow villagers in remote regions to talk to someone (who speaks their native tongue) who has access to Google and other informational databases. This allows them to tap into the wonderful resource of the Internet. Brilliant.

Why Business Theories Are a Waste of Time — This is why I see B-school to be a waste of time. Have trust. Love what you do. Everything else is hard work and luck.
