Americans are becoming immune to the news of disasters, and feeling less charitable. Or so this article claims. I’d imagine it has more to do with the fact that it’s far away, China has more than enough money, both China and Myanmar aren’t exactly opening their doors for US-based aid to get in, and finally, the tough economic times are helping. I doubt that the next disaster that strikes the US will be lacking in financial outreach. (via DNO)
